Colorado theater shooter, James Holmes, got sentenced to the maximum possible 3,318 years in prison. In other words, life with no parole.

Question though, why?
If there is no chance (for a criminal) of rehabilitation & someone becoming a useful member of society, why keep them alive? Just kill him/her & be done with it.
I can understand life without parole if it is part of a plea agreement but a straight up conviction?
I know the death penalty was on the table for this but it was a split jury & so they couldn't pursue it as per state law but this still seems like a waste of time/resources to me.

So like, is the valley girl trend like making a comeback again? Cuz today I have like heard "like" like 100 times and like 80 of them were like completely unnecessary. :furious:

That smeg is annoying.

Takes a lot of batteries but we're getting closer to hoverboards:

Yeah, it's more like a drone that is powerful enough to carry a person but I'll take it :D

Flying cars do exist! :)

Hover boards do exist also ;)

Yes they exist (that last one is my favorite real one for the time being) but they aren't the norm which is depicted in the movie. And that hoverboard isn't self powered.

I don't have a flying car or a hoverboard but I did wear my pants wrong side out today.

So if someone gets married today, does that mean they only have to remember their anniversary once every four years?
