I have heard it said that the Federal 40 gr. ammo is equivalent to SS197 and that FNH has no intent to import SS197 to compete with Federal. I don't know how good or bad that info is, so please don't "shoot the messenger" so to speak. Anybody more plugged in with FNH than I am, want to weigh in here...

I just used mine for the 1st time over the week end. I used it on scope bases, scope rings and rifle guard screws with a synthetic stock. It does seem to work and as long as you're OK with a fat screw driver instead of a ratchet, it's usable. A Seekonk torque wrench it is not. Then again it doesn't ...
