Speaking of gun control, here is another petition. I like it, but I am afraid to sign this particular one. Not that I am a member of the tinfoil hat club, but I could see ending up on a "naughty" list after adding one's John Hancock.

Yeah my sense of humor can be a bit strange at times, but more often sarcastic. Everybody and his brother are posting on youtube about this - many of them are rants that do us more harm than good. People tend to tune those out after a while, or worse, use it as evidence that all gun owners are fringe-dwelling nut cases.

I thought injecting a little humor (read: sarcasm) into the discussion might get people to at least watch and possibly get the message.

Well, I liked it. And, I already own at least one of those 30oz pillows! It still amazes me that when anti-gun people have a dangerous situation, they scream for people with... ta da... guns to rescue them. :ponder:

Ya know...I just had a THUNK.
I know that liberals have this THING...they really don't like to PUNISH. Like kids, right? Don't spank, give time-outs. Do something GOOD, give them a reward. Yay!
Criminals, don't KILL them for murdering people...give them a time out. IF they don't kill people in prison, they get a reward...like...getting out so they can kill again. Yay..wait.
Well, anyway.
My THUNK was...rather than PUNISHING law-abiding gun owners, let's REWARD them! Yeah...let's let them have BACK the guns that were taken away back when they outlawed select fire. Yeah? See...so then...only the law abiding people can have MACHINE GUNS, and the criminals? They'll be stuck with all of these New York style 'assault weapons' with evil black paint jobs and 7 round 'clips' and those evil 'BARREL SHROUDS' and bayonet lugs...and stuff.
At least that way, when a criminal comes after the law abiding and they run OUT of ammunition with their SEVENTH shot, we law-abiding folks will have 30-50 round MAGAZINES and FULL-AUTO to mow those mutha-loving gangstas down!
